"Genuss Aktiv" Program"Active enjoyment" is offered by the Aktivzentrum Zillertal. Thanks to a partnership with the Alpenkristall apartments, as our guests, you can take advantage of the "Genuss Aktiv" offers for free. From May to October, a variety of excursions, hikes, workshops, and action tours are offered - which you can participate in for free. With "Genuss Aktiv", you can experience and discover the Zillertal and its secrets in an entirely special way. The different offers appeal to the different senses and thus make the Zillertal more accessible to everyone. For example, there is a mountain herb hike, on which you will gather various grasses and herbs and learn interesting information about them.
In addition, there is compass navigation, which will teach you how to correctly read maps and the compass - a survival course. Of course, the culture and history of the Zillertal are not forgotten. A visit to the Strasser Häusl in Laimach will allow you to travel back to the past and learn interesting things about the Zillertal. Grass skiing and mountain boarding offer a special fun factor. Yep, that's right you can actually ski and snowboard on grass - and this is offered right outside your door. Equipment is available on-site. There is of course a program in the Zillertal for those who prefer a little less action. Visit a photo workshop and capture the valley in a unique way. The Genuss Aktiv program offers all this and much more - don't miss this opportunity to experience at least one attraction.
Zillertal Alps Nature Park
Not far from Mayrhofen, one of the most beautiful and most impressive natural landscapes opens its doors. The Zillertal Alps Nature Park begins at an elevation of 1,000 meters and leads up to the glacier areas beyond elevations of 3,000 meters. Deep gorges, vast meadows, and a landscape cultivated by people characterize the high mountain nature park. The vacation apartments in the Zillertal are located not far away from parts of the nature park. These short distances ensure that hikers, alpinists, and nature lovers have plenty of time to explore the nature park.
Golfing in and around Tyrol
The golf courses in the Zillertal and surroundings are located in the heart of magnificent nature encompassed by the impressive mountains of the Alps. The facilities of the various golf courses meet international standards and offer ideal conditions for beginners and pros. The courses are mainly flat. The fixed and mobile obstacles are mostly not artificially created but are part of the landscape and are harmoniously integrated into the golf courses.
Uderns Golf Club in Zillertal - active recreation
In Uderns in Zillertal is one of the most modern golf facilities with an 18-hole championship course, a golf school, a covered driving range, and a short course. The Alpenkristall is located only 10 minutes away by car from the golf course.
Mittersill Golf Club – At the foot of the Hohe Tauern
At the edge of the forest surrounded by meadows and rivers is the Mittersill Golf Club. In front of the panorama of the Großglockner and Großvenediger, the 18-hole course is nestled in the valley. The natural obstacles consist of streams, lakes, trees, and hay barns, which give the course a special charm. In the restaurant, guests can be pampered with local cuisine while enjoying the view of the golf course. If you would like to improve your handicap, you can train with the help of a PGA-certified instructor.
The Alpenkristall is located one hour away by car from the golf course.
Achensee Golf Club - picturesque landscape
The golf club on the Achensee is located at an elevation of 1,000 meters and is surrounded by the Karwendel Nature Park. The 18-hole championship course offers ideal conditions for ambitious golfers, and beginners will get their money's worth too. The course is nestled in nature with forests and lakes, is mainly flat, and is well manicured. In the clubhouse, guests can relax after a sporty day and be pampered by the kitchen team. The Alpenkristall is located 30 minutes away by car from the golf course.

Action Sports
The action offer in the Zillertal is certainly not for the faint-hearted - because awaiting visitors in the summer arena of the Zillertal are real challenges that guarantee tons of fun and adrenaline. Head out of the vacation apartment and straight into adventure.
Arena Coaster
The 1,450 meter long alpine coaster leads over waves, jumps, steep curves, and roundabouts uphill and downhill. Head to the valley station of the Zillertal Arena, where this special kind of tobogganing fun awaits the whole family. Even when are you back in the apartment in the evening, you can still feel the curves of the coaster.
Via Ferrata, Climbing Tower and High Ropes Garden
On the Gerlossteinwand is an Alpine via ferrata for active athletes of any age. If you don't think you are capable of this tour, you can practice on the climbing tower in Gerlos and improve your skills or work on your balance in the high ropes garden in Gerlos. All locations are not far from our vacation apartments.
Rafting and Canyoning Tours
The Wildgerlosbach delivers what its name promises. Pros as well as beginners will be challenged here when the spray from the whitewater splashes in their face. Even more daring are the canyoning tours in the Zillertal. First, you will head by foot through different gorges near Gerlos or Mayrhofen until you reach the crystal-clear water. One of the highlights of the various guided tours includes rappelling through a waterfall.
Paragliding
As a bird soars across the sky, glide through the air and enjoy the view of the impressive alpine landscape. Relive the feeling of being weightless as you look at your vacation photos the next day.
